Laughlin Service Funeral Home & Crematory 
is celebrating 150 years of service to families in our 
community by awarding over $54,000 in grants 
to local non-profit organizations!

To celebrate their 150 years of service to the community, Laughlin Service requested grant proposals from area non-profit organizations. An independent committee narrowed the 33 submissions received down to 10 and those projects were announced in a public social media campaign to help select the recipients. Over 17,000 votes were cast resulting in grants being awarded to 10 local non-profit organizations totaling over $54,000.
Hunter Stephenson Rescue Center – Felines and Canines - $5000
CASA - $2500
Free 2 Teach - $5000
HAP (Huntsville Assistance Program) - $5000
Huntsville- Madison County Rescue Squad - $5000
Community Free Dental Clinic - $10,000
Not One More Alabama - $4500
Second Mile Development - $4500
The Land Trust of North Alabama - $3500
Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Hospice Family Cares - $9620.50
